Our Mission
The mission of the PNG NIO includes mantaining peace, combating espionage and saboutage, providing early warning of potential military attacks, protecting national sovereignty ,detecting foreign interference in political, ,military or economic activities, assessing global and regional political, economic and social stability, and predicting future trends in resource availability and prices that could affect Papaua New Guinea (NIO ACT 1984)
